Resilience - Evelyn Jacks (2022)

The exhibition "Resiliencia" by visual artist Evelyn Jacks has been on display in the exhibition halls of the "Matices" Gallery since August 25, 2022. These recent abstract works were created by the author for the exhibition with great vigor in the strokes and firm spatulate lines, denoting and marking a lot of security and firmness on the supports.

The technique used by Evelyn is acrylic on canvas and on various objects, as the pictorial comes from an oscillating and varied palette that goes from black to gray, from brown to beige, from petroleum blue to grayish blue, In some paintings he used gold and silver leaf as an intervention in the visual fields.

Throughout the exhibition we can delight in energetic poetic compositions that remind us of resilience in the face of attitudes that are presented to us and strengthen us when we receive blows in our life paths.
