The Matices Gallery (Asunción) presents the solo exhibition by Osvaldo Salerno (Asunción, 1952) entitled KAIRÓS, curated by Alban Martínez Gueyraud, starting on September 16 and within the framework of the "Gallery Night 2021". It is a set of recent works but from different series, some made in the format and language of conceptual boxes/showcases and others, in prints on paper.

Kairos, Kronos and Aion are three gods from Greek mythology linked to the experience and living of time. Kairos represents an indefinite period in which something important happens. Unlike chronological time – quantitative, which accumulates (Kronos) – and cyclical time – incessant, which always returns (Aion) – Kairos is that resplendent instant that becomes immortal. It appears, but in order to capture it in the right interval, we would have to be extremely attentive.
