Collection: Ma. Lys Franco
Maria Lys Franco was born in Asuncion, Paraguay, and from a young age she felt a taste for and attraction to art, especially drawing and painting. From that time on she felt that her calling was architecture, but for family reasons, she was forced to abandon her studies, after entering the Faculty of Architecture at the National University of Asuncion. While still very young, she turned to the famous painter Roberto Holden Jara, who gave her her first teachings and instructions on how to use a brush and paint. She also ventured into the art of painting on porcelain. She attended Gary Milner's painting workshops. Her creative spirit of art, as well as her entrepreneurial stature, led her to undertake her work in the field of design and fashion, with a well-known workshop for the highest and finest women's couture. Her strong inspiration from the Catholic faith led her to the study of theology, mainly apostolic catechesis, and the liturgical field. María Lys knew how to raise and educate five children in an exemplary manner.
